WCM

World Class Manufacturing (WCM) is a management philosophy that aims to create a lean and efficient manufacturing environment. WCM is characterized by continuous improvement, waste reduction, and the elimination of non-value-added activities. It encompasses all aspects of the manufacturing process, including design, engineering, production, maintenance, logistics, and quality. The objective of WCM is to create a culture of excellence, where employees are empowered to identify and solve problems, improve processes, and optimize resources. WCM is widely recognized as a benchmark for manufacturing excellence and has been adopted by many companies around the world.

This  test helps evaluate an organization’s World Class Manufacturing (WCM) performance. It consists of 40 questions divided into 10 pillars, each of which covers a specific aspect of WCM. The test is designed in the form of a quiz where each question has a score range of 1 to 5. The user is required to select a score for each question based on the organization’s current performance level.

Once all the questions are answered, the user clicks on the “Calculate Score” button to get the total score as a percentage, along with a comment and specific actions for improvement based on the total score. The comment and actions are customized to the score and provide recommendations to the user to improve the organization’s WCM performance.

The test can be used by managers, executives, and quality professionals to evaluate their organization’s performance in terms of World Class Manufacturing. It can also be used as a tool to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
